《世界著名艺术博物馆》是由兰州大学历史文化学院考古学及博物馆学研究所面向全校师生及社会公众开设的通识教育核心课程。本课程通过向师生和公众介绍世界著名艺术博物馆的历史、特点和代表性艺术藏品，使师生和公众感受到博物馆作为人类文明的基因库在保存人类文化遗产方面的重要价值，激发学生走进博物馆的兴趣。本课程通过介绍世界著名艺术博物馆有关艺术、哲学、宗教、美学、考古、自然史和社会史等学科知识，使师生和公众感受不同艺术风格背后所反映的文化差异和代变迁，激发学生思考艺术的本质是表现人的情感和精神，因此能最终超越地域、民族、宗教的界限，开拓学生多元包容的文化视野。本课程通过对凝聚人类文明精华的艺术经典的观察，揭示艺术内在的力量，培养学生的审美观念及生活情趣，培养批判性独立思考的能力，拥有获取幸福的思维方式。
Introduction to World Famous Art Museums is a core course of general education offered by Institute of Archaeology and Museology, School of History and Culture, Lanzhou University, for all teachers and students and the public.
This course introduces the history, characteristics and representative art collections of world-famous art museums to teachers, students and the public, so that teachers, students and the public can feel the important value of museums as the gene pool of human civilization in the preservation of human cultural heritage, and stimulate students' interest in entering museums.
This course by introducing the world famous art museum about art, philosophy, religion, aesthetics, archaeology, natural history and social history discipline knowledge, make teachers and students and the public feelings of different artistic style reflects cultural differences behind them and change, stimulates the student to think art is the essence of human emotion and spirit, thus can eventually transcends the boundaries of regional, ethnic, religious, develops the student pluralistic culture field of vision.
This course reveals the inner power of art through the observation of the art classics that embody the essence of human civilization, cultivates the students' aesthetic perception and life interest, develops the ability of critical and independent thinking, and possesses the thinking mode of obtaining happiness.
