课程介绍 Course introduction

From Zhou Dynasty, Chinese scholars who excelled the "liù yì" (六艺) (Six Arts) which included Rites, Music, Archery, Charioteering, Calligraphy and Mathematics were considered to be a perfect gentleman. That means the six arts are the basic cultural elements or skills for traditional Chinses scholars.
After a long term,  the six-arts system is already a great cultural heritage that the intellectual can apply today to practice the visible Chinese traditional culture. 
According to the circumstances, our teaching team innovated the  new six-art system for today's interllectual. They are: 1. Chinese Etiquette 2. Calligraphy 3. Chinese Painting 4. Guqin 5. Chinese Teasim  6. Wushu.  
And the teaching team use this new six-art system to construct our Chinese culture course. 
In the structure of this course, the first chapter is a cultural map, the second chapter is the head.  And the focus of the second chapter etiquette or rite is a mean line through all other 5 chapters.

3. have an in-depth understanding of the traditional Chinese six arts and eight arts systems, and master the practical and operational system of the New Six Arts.

4. strengthen the cultivation of students’ behaviors.

5. practice and apply the Chinese culture in daily life and create some new things for the current Chinese culture in the global context.
