Aircraft state monitoring and diagnosis techniques plays an important role in ensuring the safety, reliability and economy of aircraft. This course comprehensively state the complete techniques system of aircraft state monitoring, detection and diagnosis with aeronautic and civil aviation characteristics. The content complies the aspects of state diagnosis of aero-engine, or wear diagnosis of aero-engine, or vibration diagnosis of aero-engine, or nondestructive testing of aircraft structure, or maintenance theory, and so on. All these aspects are also deeply studied by the course project group in the past ten years, provide well support for the course teaching. The course are also a necessary special course at civil aviation college for undergraduate students and graduate students who major in civil aviation mechanical engineering. The course is important for students who expect to do work related with maintenance and troubleshooting.
The purpose of this course is to introduce the complete system and framework, and the common detection and diagnosis techniques. The obvious characteristic of this course possess distinctive aviation features. Through the course study, students can grasp all of the techniques of aircraft detection and diagnosis, i.e. state diagnosis of aero-engine, trend analysis of aero-engine, finger-print diagnosis, rotor vibration fault diagnosis of aero-engine, bore-scope detection of aero-engine, nondestructive testing of aircraft structure, and leak detection in aircraft. In order to well establish the analysis and research ability of aircraft detection and diagnosis, the course also introduce the advanced theory of signal analysis, image processing, pattern recognition, artificial intelligent in detail.
