本课程是为英语专业本科一年级学生开设的学门核心课。本课程旨在帮助学生掌握标准英式和美式英语发音，使用自然得体的语音语调进行口语交际。学生将系统性地重点学习前元音、中元音、后元音与双元音的听、辨、发音与口语练习，也将学习语音规则，如重音、连读、弱读、停顿、语调。课程特色为思政教育与语音教学相结合、线下课堂与SPOC课程相结合、教师讲解与自主学习相结合、语音训练与电影配音相结合，通过有效的训练培养学生正确的社会主义核心价值观与规范的英语语音语调。 This course is a fundamental course for English freshmen. After learning the course, students are able to accurately pronounce with American or British accent, and communicate in English with appropriate pronunciation and intonation. In the class, students practice English phonetic symbols, including monophthongs (front vowels, central vowels and back vowels) and diphthongs (rising and centering diphthongs), as well as pronunciation features, such as sentence stress, liaison, weak form, consonant clusters, pause, rhythm and intonation. The course combines moral teaching and pronunciation teaching, classroom learning and SPOC learning, teacher's clarification and students' autonomous learning, English pronunciation training and movie-dubbing exercises together, which cultivates students' core socialist values and improves their English pronunciation.
