Cell biology is a basic course of medical science.We will introduce the principles and concepts of modern cellular biology, focusing on the systems and mechanisms that allow cells to survive and perform specific functions in our body. Students should master structures of eukaryotic cells, including the nucleus, cytoplasmic organelles, the cytoskeleton, and the cell membrane. Cell functions are also very important, including the topics such as cell signaling, chemical material transportation, cell mortility, and cell cycle. Meanwhile, we will analyse some clinic disorders from cellular level. The laboratory experiments of our course include some basic cell biology techniques and research skills training.
