《批判性思维》作为一门体现逻辑学的基础性、工具性、应用广泛性的学科，极其注重思维素质教育与思维能力培养。本课程立足现代逻辑的高度处理传统逻辑内容，建构以逻辑分析、逻辑批判、逻辑推理、逻辑论证理论与方法为核心的内容体系，阐述思想和思维内在的逻辑基本规律、思想和思维都要遵守的逻辑基本法则、思想和思维都要运用的逻辑基本方法，提供正确思维和有效思维的基本逻辑工具和手段。

This course is about the nature and techniques of critical thought, viewed as a way to establish a reliable basis for our claims, beliefs, and attitudes about the world. The topic of this course is to explore multiple perspectives, placing established facts,theories, and practices in tension with alternatives to see how could be otherwise. Views about observation and interpretation, reasoning and inference, valuing and judging, and the production of knowledge in its social context are considered. Special attention is given to translating what is learned into strategies, materials, and interventions for use in students' own educational and professional settings.
