课程简介: 《高职国际进阶英语1》是面向高职非英语专业一年级第一学期学生的公共基础课,兼具工具性与人文性。该课程全面贯彻党的教育方针,落实立德树人根本任务,以中职和普通高中的英语课程为基础,与本科教育阶段的英语课程相衔接,旨在结合职场情境、反映职业特色,进一步提高学生的英语应用能力。

教学方法
结合本校学生实际,利用互联网所提供的丰富资源,线上课程通过教学任务搭建脚手架,对教学内容和语言学习任务进行合理分解和有效拓展。线下课程将教学重点放在培养学生语言应用、分析和解决问题能力上。根据我院学生特点,将知识、技能和素质的培养有机结合。将学习任务和工作任务相协调,将虚拟情景与真实任务相融合,通过“预”、“解”、“示”、“练”、“展”、“评”、“固”七步骤真正实现了“教、学、做”一体化

课程教学目标
本课程是非英语专业专科生的必修课。综合英语教学是高等教育的一个有机组成部分,综合英语课程是大学生的一门基础课程。综合英语是以英语语言知识与应用技能,学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。综合英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语应用能力,增强跨文化交际意识和交际能力,同时发展自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,使他们在学习、生活、社会交往和未来工作中能够有效地使用英语,满足国家、社会、学校和个人发展的需要。
本课程为学前教育学院、信息工程学院、现代服务与管理学院各专科学生设置,在第一学期学习的基础课程,旨在指导学生在深入学习课文的基础上,从词,句,语篇等角度进行听、说、读、写、译多方面的语言操练,着重培养学生的英语语言能力和综合应用能力。该课程采用《高职国际英语》第一册第一至第八单元,每单元由三个部分组成。Part 1 为每单元提供了一段与该单元主题密切相关的录音,要求学生在上课前预习时听。这一活动旨在激发学习兴趣,引导学生进入主题并为学习课文做好准备。Part 2 由正课文、词汇表和练习三部分组成。Part 3 是一项进一步拓展的综合性口头与书面实践活动。它是在学生经过了课文的学习和一系列的语言操练后,对相关主题的内容和语言表述已有所掌握的前提下进行的。主要由小组讨论和课堂写作两部分组成。

(1)Background Information:
Youth hostel: Youth hostel is a kind of supervised shelter providing inexpensive overnight accommodation, particularly for young people. Hostels range from simple accommodations in a farm house to hotels able to house several hundred guests for days at a time. They are located in many parts of the world, usually in scenic areas. People who lodge in youth hostels often cook their own meals, make their own beds, and do other light work. In return they receive temporary accommodation at much cheaper price.
Tourist information office: A tourist information office may also be called as visitor center, visitor information center or information center. It provides visitors or travelers with necessary information about the area’s attractions, lodgings, maps, and other items relevant to tourism. Often, these centers or tourist information offices are operated at the airport, railway station or other port of entry.

(1)Background Information:
Extreme sports, sporting events or pursuits characterized by high speeds and high risk. The sports most commonly placed in this group are skateboarding, snowboarding, freestyle skiing, in-line roller-skating, and BMX and mountain biking. Typically, extreme sports operate outside traditional mainstream sports and are celebrated for their adrenaline-pumping thrills. Racing and acrobatic competitions for motorcycles and snowmobiles are also often classified as “extreme,” and the term can be stretched to include such daring pursuits as rock climbing and skydiving.

考核方式
将评价主体、评价方式、评价过程相结合,将教师评价、学生互评与自我评价相结合,校内评价与校外评价相结合,形成性评价与终结性评价相结合;适当吸纳相关行业、企业和社会组织参与考核评价;完善学生学习过程监测、评价与反馈机制,引导学生自我管理、主动学习,提高学习效率。
英语(基础)课程评价结果由50%的形成评价成绩和50%的终结性评价组成,形成性评价包括单元测试、自主学习(线上)、课堂表现、学习笔记、期中测试及学生课堂操行评定等作为参考标准,注重平时过程参与和态度表现,不以单一期末试卷考试为唯一评价标准。
