  • Robin Hood Festival: a festival that takes place for one week in August every year inSherwood Forest, an ancient woodland in Nottinghamshire, England. The eventcelebrates the life and times of one of the most popular outlaws in the world: RobinHood. Activities and entertainment include children’s theater, strollingplayers, jesters, jousting, and music. Robin Hood is a legendary figure who isportrayed as a romantic medieval bowman who lived as an outlaw, outsmarting andstealing from the wealthy to help the poor and oppressed.

  • La Sagrada Familia:AntoniGaudi's unfinished masterpiece. It is visited by millions of tourists everyyear and is one of Barcelona's most important landmarks. When Gaudi died in1926, he'd worked on it for over 40 years. His unique style was inspired mainlyby nature. Work continues on the building, but is not expected to be completeduntil 2026.

  • The Godfatheran explosive gangster epicwith a running time of nearly three hours. The movie won three Oscars in 1972,and is now widely regarded as one of the greatest movies in world cinema — andas one of the most influential, especially in the gangster genre.
